Enter the Limelight Review meme. *cue wild follower applause for this brilliant and even more brilliant idea*
The meme will go live every Friday. That gives you all an entire week to pop over to three (3) blogs, read their reviews and leave your comments. Bloggers please be aware that not everyone has read the book you reviewed. If your review contains spoilers, please tell us!
HOW DO YOU PLAY?
* You are not required to follow anyone -- including me, however, if you like the content of another blog, this is a great way to build meaningful connections.
* You will use the Mr. Linky at the bottom of each week's post to enter your review information and link.
* Please only enter one (1) review per week. I realize some of you post multiple reviews per week (or day), but for this meme, we are limiting each blog to one (1) entry per week.
* You need to post the link for the actual review not just your blog address, so people don't have to search for the review.
* Visit the SPOTLIGHTED REVIEW and two (2) other reviews from the list below and leave meaningful comments... the types of comments you want left on your blog... on each of the three (3) reviews.
* You do NOT need to hop back to blogs that comment on your review; however, you may if you desire.

ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I wish we could submit 2 reviews, but 1 is better than nothing! Nothing stinks more than writting a review ur really proud of and having 0 comments! Thanks for this great opportunity!

ReplyDeleteWell, that's kind of the cool thing about the way this is set up. Technically, you CAN submit two (2) reviews.
Review 1) Fill out the sign up form, submitting a review you would like to be featured in LLR... remember, this review is guaranteed to be visited and receive comments on the week it is featured;
Review 2) On Fridays when you come to visit the featured LLR, drop the link of ANOTHER review into the linky. That way, odds are, at least one or two others will hit this review.
So... you have two (2) reviews in the running.
And once your review is featured, you can sign up with another review. They'll be done on a first come, first serve basis.

I have a couple of questions. Can we submit one review to be featured and then a different review in out link? And will we need to submit a new review every week to be featured?

ReplyDeleteJay, yes you can fill out the form and submit one review to be featured as a "Limelight Review," and you can submit a different review each week in the linkys at the bottom of the feature post. So, you actually have the potential to draw traffic to multiple reviews, and to your blog multiple times.
In revamping LLR, we've set it up to where the exposure is multiplied. *smiles* Good deal, huh?
